IN PERSON - OUTDOOR MUSIC SERIES!!

Jack & Friends Family Music Playground Series with Suzi Shelton and Guests along with Park Slope Parents. Suzi will feature a diverse array of guest musicians including trombone, upright bass and fiddle players in this 6 week outdoor concert series for families with young children.

10am - giant bubbles on the lawn - 10:30am - music begins

Join local family performer Suzi Shelton along with a line-up of amazing guest musicians for a series of free, fun-filled musical outdoor performances with giant bubbles by PSP.

To kick off the series on Thursday, September 16th, Suzi will feature trombonist T.J. Robinson!

T. J. Robinson (Huck Tim) was born and raised in Charleston, SC and began playing the trombone at age 8. He is now an active freelance musician in New York City and has played with various groups such as the Artie Shaw Band, the Grammy-nominated Manhattan School of Music Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra, the acclaimed reggae group Burning Spear, the Revive Big Band, and tours around the world with the group Circular Time. TJ is also an active member of The Blue Wolf Experience where he plays trombone, percussion, and raps. They are currently touring around the world opening for George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. Follow him on insta @timjayrob

Geared for families with children ages 0-5 yrs but everyone is welcome! This series is in-person and off-site, located at the Old Stone House in Washington Park! In the event of poor weather, the performance will be broadcast live from 10:30-11:15 am on the Park Slope Library Facebook page.

Social distancing and safety guidelines will be reinforced.
