Did you know that the first Filipino American executive chef in the White House was a woman named Cristeta Comerford? Come learn about Christeta and others as we celebrate Women's History Month with Birds of a Feather, two kids music luminaries - Filipina-American Little Miss Ann (Ann Torralba) of Chicago and Brooklyn's longtime children's music pioneer Suzi Shelton. At this special field trip during Women's History Month, Ann and Suzi will highlight some contributions of women in history as well as themes of individuality, strength and bravery through stories, movement and songs. Recommended for ages 5-8 years old.
