Learning Goals of Suzi’s Early Childhood Music Classes:

• Encourages Self Expression: Through music repetition and song, children start to grasp concepts of early language and literacy, and use these skills for communication and self expression which impact their daily lives.  

• Enhances Development: Repeated exposure to songs, rhythms and rhymes helps children develop music intelligence, expressive movement and mind/body connection, and increases neurological connections.  

• Community: Suzi offers a sense of community where everyone feels welcome, and introduces children to special guests from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. Kindness and empathy is always encouraged, as well as celebrating diversity and equality.  

• Joy: Singing is fun! It makes you feel good and brings joy!

• Compliments Adaptive Learning Curriculum: Suzi’s classes offer an engaged learning experience for differently abled learners and can be adapted for people of all ages, including supports for adults with disabilities, to cultivate independence, confidence and connection with others.
